This is a bi-colored bloom. The deep plum/purple flowers can be checkered by white. The pattern is not regular, and some blooms have a more mottled than checkered coloring, and some are solid purple.
Unfortunatly for me, this one doesnt do great in my little valley I grow in so I am moving my stock out to whomever want to try her. She sunburns for me pretty badly. So try her out in partial shade? Cooler cliamte? Ive been seeing a greater treend in wedding color requests for plum bicolors
