The blooms glitter on our favorite bicolor dahlia. Base color is a light orange apricot which turns to pale bush to white on the petal tips. These remind us of a creamsicle, especially during a summer heatwave and of a decorative intricate mandala the way the petals are shaped and the color changes just so. Bicolors tend to be very variable in their consistency of exact color combination, and often throw solids here and there. Hollyhill Orange Ice doesn't do this in my field. It stays remarkably consistent in its bicolor pattern
Only two negative things to say: one pests love her (for us its the diabriotica) and secondly, not the most dahlia to bloom. It does not sunburn the way other bicolor A La Mode does for us
